The Glee season finale, or Gleeson finale, just finished airing. I have to say, I enjoyed it. I liked the flashback to the love scene between Puck and Quinn. I was surprised and happy to hear Finn declare his love for Rachel. I loved the selection of judges at regionals.
I overall just enjoyed the episode. I feel like the show hit a rough patch during the middle of the second half of season one, but this brought it all back together.
There is one thing I don't understand - how would both New Directions and their local competitors, Vocal Adrenaline, be at regionals if only one could win sectionals? I thought winning sectionals was the way to qualify for regionals. Was Vocal Adrenaline not there? Am I remembering that episode of Glee incorrectly?
I absolutely loved Vocal Adrenaline's rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and how it mixed in with Quinn's childbirth. Plus, Sue Sylvester stepping up when Olivia Newton-John started bashing McKinley was amazing.
My favorite quote: "The not at all stupidly named Oral Intensity." Sue definitely rocked that one.
It's not at all that I wanted Vocal Adrenaline to win over New Directions, but I'm glad they won. It would be unrealistic for New Directions to win. And Sue voting for New Directions was classic.
Oh my gosh, and Rachel's mom adopting Quinn & Puck's daughter Beth? AMAZING. Totally unrealistic, but totally amazing!
