On "House Hunters International," a couple bought a house for $1.78 million, and stated it's below their price range.
For a short while, they didn't have their furniture, so they slept in sleeping bags. They said that was roughing it.
Sorry, I hardly call living in a $1.78 million 3-building villa 'roughing it,' even if you're in sleeping bags for a week. Especially when you talk about how the house is so much below your budget that you have extra money to spend for fun and renovation.
Just saying. *Grumble.* I wish I had $1.78 million for an oceanside villa.
Honestly, I don't blame this couple for affording the home. I'm just jealous.
